About the event
Do you know a Class of 2024 graduate that needs with their plans after high school? "Momma I Don't Want to Go to College" Skills and Trade Expo strives to expose elementary & middle schoolers to post high school careers & connect young adults, ages 16-30, and their families to current job openings; college support; internship and/or apprenticeship opportunities; industry certification opportunities; on-the-job training, and career services for positions available in high demand skills and trade industries.
We are still honoring the life and legacy of Nipsey Hussle's "Too big to fail" approach to economic-development and wealth building. Charlotte and surrounding areas, Let's paint our city "Nipsey Blue" and celebrate the rise in technical and blue-collar skilled jobs and #successwithoutdebt!
This is your opportunity to meet with vendors and enjoy live entertainment and performances! This is a family-friendly event! Some vendors will be hiring on the spot!
